We will leave Santiago towards San José de Maipo, a small mountain town located 1000 meters high.
We will continue our tour while we observe great mountains until we reach a viewpoint of the San José Volcano, where we will have an energetic breakfast.
Our hiking will do you through the valley of La Engorda which allows incredible views of the Andes. The main attractions are: San José Volcano, Marmolejo Hill and its glaciers and Arenas Hill.

After 3 hours of walking, we will go to the thermal springs of the Colina Valley to enjoy a therapeutic thermal bath and a picnic with typical food and Chilean wine.
Around 4:00 p.m. we will begin our return to Santiago.

Activity: 3 hour, round-trip hike 8 km.

Hiking The Andean Cóndor Viewpoint.

We will leave Santiago towards San José de Maipo, a small mountain town located 1000 meters high.
We will continue our tour while we observe great mountains until we reach El Yeso dam, a freshwater reserve that offers beautiful views. Here we will have an exquisite breakfast prepared by your guides.

After leaving the Yeso Reservoir, our trip continues to the Termas del Plomo, where we will leave our cars to start the hike to the Laguna de Los Patos.
The main views are to the Los Patos lagoon located at 3200 meters altitude, Marmolejo volcano and its glaciers, fauna and flora typical of the Andes.

After 3 hours of walking, we will go to El Plomo thermal springs to enjoy a therapeutic thermal bath and a picnic with typical food and Chilean wine.

Around 4:00 p.m. we will begin our return to Santiago.

Hiking El Morado National Monument.

The Andean Condor viewpoint in Santiago of Chile

We will leave Santiago towards Cajón del Maipo, a mountain area par excellence. We will continue our tour while we observe great mountains until we reach a special viewpoint of the Andes mountain range, where we will have an energetic and delicious breakfast.

Our hike will do you through the valley of Colorado river which allows incredible views of the Andes and mainly to the Mirador de los Cóndores, a place where it is practically guaranteed to be able to observe condors from close proximity. This view point is located directly above an enormous cliff where many of the “king of the Andes” are nesting.

After about 3 hours of walking, we will arrive at a large plain to observe the mountain range, condors in flight and enjoy a delicious picnic and Chilean wine.

Around 4:00 p.m. we will begin our return to Santiago.

The main attractions are: Condors view point, Tupungato Volcano, typical flora and fauna.

Hiking El Morado Natural Monument

Your tour starts with early morning pickup from your hotel in the Santiago area. From there, you will head to El Morado Natural Monument National Park, which is located 93 kms (57 miles) from Santiago.

The starting point of the hike is in Baños Morales, a mountain village at 1,900 meters of altitude (6,200 ft). The trail leads to the beautiful San Francisco Glacier lookout at 2,500 meters (8,200 ft) and the Morales Glacier lagoon. During the hike we will have a refreshing stop at “Aguas de Panimávida”, iron-rich carbonated waters that directly spills out from the earth.

Then, enjoy typical food in the mountains and then hike back for about 5 miles (4 kms) to the starting point. Connect with nature and enjoy this park on a great day trip. 

Around 15:00 horas, we will begin our return to Santiago.

The main attractions are: San Francisco Glacier view point, Morales lagoon, The Morado Mountain and typical flora and fauna.

Difficulty: Medium. This tour is recommended for people in good physical shape.
